What you’ll need
The registration wizard takes about 15 minutes, and you can save a draft and resume any time. Have these ready:
- Company registration details and supply categories
- Primary and finance contact persons
- Bank account details for payments (SWIFT/IBAN for foreign suppliers)
- Business registration documents and any quality certifications
- Acceptance of the Supplier Code of Conduct, digitally signed

Who can register as a vendor?
Local Maldivian businesses with valid MED registration and foreign suppliers alike. Registration is by invitation — contact our procurement team to request a registration link for your company.
How does sealed bidding work?
Bid submissions are encrypted and stay sealed until the official opening date. No one — including MIC staff — can view prices before the deadline passes, ensuring a fair and auditable process.
What are weekly quote requests?
For recurring fresh and dry supplies, MIC issues weekly quote requests to approved vendors in the relevant categories. Submit your prices online before the cut-off each week.
